FAQ
I would like to stop by the gallery to see these timepieces with my own eyes. your opening hours?
The timepieces by independent creators are extremely valuable works of art. Regrettably,
for security reasons, all visits to the gallery are by appointment only. We aplogize for the inconvenience but request that you use the website form to request an appointment.
Is it possible to order a timepiece with changes to the original design, or an entirely new piece with additional functions at my request?
Yes. As all timepieces by independent watch and clockmakers are unique pieces, we can engrave names or letters of your choice, or change the design and finish of the dial to reflect your tastes. Furthermore, although this will take more time, it is possible to order completely new timepieces with bespoke mechanisms or designs.
What should I do if the timepiece I bought stops working correctly or breaks? Where and how will repairs be undertaken?
Unlike antique watches, most of these timepieces by independent watchmakers come with basic water resistance, but this will vary between models. We can explain further details during viewings, and will answer all of your questions. Please note that due to the nature of these timepieces, most pieces do not have the high water resistance typical of sports watches. In order to protect the value of your timepiece, we recommend always removing it when washing your hands or being near water.
Are these timepieces suitable for everyday use?
Unlike antique watches, most of these independent watchmaker timepieces come with basic waterproofing, but it may differ between models. When considering purchase, we will explain the details so please feel free to ask as many questions as you like. Beyond each timepiece’s individual characteristics, most pieces do not have the high-pressure waterproofing typical of sports watches. In order to maintain the value of your timepiece, we recommend always removing it when washing your hands or being near water.
